Consumer Research on Green Home Brands – Energy Pulse Survey

At GreenBuild I attended GR03 “Bringing Green Homes to the Mass Market”. In my post from Thursday (here). I cited a number of statistics I had picked up throughout the day’s sessions.

I received a number of inquiries about the statistics, most of them came from the presenter, Suzanne Shelton of The Shelton Group who’s bio states, “An expert in national consumer attitudes and behaviors relative to energy use and conservation, Suzanne’s firm, Shelton Group, independently sponsors the annual Energy Pulse study (www.energypulse.org) – which in fall 2008 enters its fourth year – including detailed data and trend analysis on how consumers think about energy conservation issues and how they approach related purchasing decisions, such as residential energy use and home products.”
